User Reviews
This guitar is well built, great as a starter guiter.
for those who complains not good enough, consider the money your paid.
Give manufactuer such a price and request more to increase build material and cost is unfair, the manufacture will go bankrupcy!
If you want high end product, pay more you could affort to.
As a basic guitar it is well -- Well built, great start guitar
I have been playing guitar for 50 years; but it's not the years, it's hours. I play morning, noon and night, everyday, and this is the guitar I usually play. Actually mine is an older version of this model. I have better guitars, but this is the one that I leave setting out where it can be played without opening a case.
I screwed a strap onto it, and I carry it everywhere I go. I take it into restaurants and play quietly. Sometimes I will put a napkin under the strings at the bridge to mute the sound so nobody can hear me. I cut a 2-inch hole in the side of the small bout near the heel so I can hear it better.
Yesterday I was asked if I would sell it. That's when I realized. I can't sell it. I LOVE THIS GUITAR. Willie Nelson would understand. I bought it from EDM on Friday 6:00 PM, February 29, 2008. It is an important part of my life.
Pros:
1.I have dropped this guitar a hundred times. I am amazed how well it has held together. WOW!, Amazing.
2.I like the feel of it's wide flat neck.
3.I like the fret markers on the side of the neck and NO WHERE ELSE. I dislike fret markers on the fret board.
4.I like the string height action just the way it came.
5.This guitar is Plain Jane Beautiful. Not fancy. All the right parts in all the right place.
6.Not a toy. This guitar motivates me to play. I want to play it. That is as good as it gets.
Problems:
1.The original strings were good, but the metal wrap worn through in 2 weeks. Your mileage may vary. I only change strings when they wear through the wrapping, and that usually takes at least 8 months.
2.The plastic puffing trim on the neck became unglued while setting in my hot car in the hot sun with no case. This was my fault of course. I simply pushed the trim back on the neck. The glue reset itself when it cooled. I'm happy.
3.The high E turning machine gear was starting to wear and bind from hard use after a year. I finally switched the worn gear with the low E gear and greased them. Works great.
-- After 2 1/3 years I just realized, I LOVE this guitar.
This is my first guitar and it sounds great even my teacher says so, It was ordered from the seller EDM and arrived 2 days after SUPER FAST SHIPPING, it's liught weight and can be played with the strings it comes with. Very happy with it. -- Great Started
This classical guitar is a really great value. I was shopping for a cheap classical guitar to use as a practice guitar, and found this gem. I did not expect much with such a small price tag, but it absolutely surprised me. The over all looks are pretty good, a little darker than the product picture implies, but still great. I will be honest, it's no Manuel Contreras, and it is fairly cheaply made. The sound, however, is stunning for such a cheap guitar. It has a mellow warm sound with bright trebles, and the strings it comes with are not bad, good sounding silver wound strings. The action (space between the strings and frets) is a little high, but acceptable. Over all a good buy for a beginner's guitar, or practice/travel guitar.

-- Better than expected
Product arrived quickly and undamaged. This is my first guitar, I bought it expecting something cheap that I could easily ignore if I never got into playing. It's made in China, and feels like it would shatter if it ever fell over or was dropped. The sound quality is well below average, but for less than 30 dollars, what could I expect? I'm just happy it came in one piece and hasn't broken yet. -- What do you expect for the price?
